Welcome To My Perfectly Imperfect (Un)balanced life

Hi! Thanks for stopping by my page! I'm Lisa (Domino) Murphy aka Domino and more recently these days "mommy". I'm a wifey to my hard-working and supportive hubby, part-time registered nurse, boymom to two handsome and loveable guys, one just happens to have fur, and fitness coach. We live a messy life, and I am making it my message.

We struggled for several years to conceive, and underwent the help of a specialist. I used to be shamed by my infertility, but now I share it with the world because without IVF we would never have brought our ornery, sweet, chatty, and loving son into the world. During the years of trying to conceive, and leading up to IVF thanks to those wonderful hormonal meds I packed on 20 pounds. I was depressed. The romance was taken out of the bedroom, and we were numbing our pain with lots of good food and wine. Exercise would make a rare appearance every once in a while but never for too long.

After Hudson was born, I knew something needed to give. I needed energy. I was not ready to say goodbye to my body forever, and I wanted us to be a healthy family. So, I started my fitness journey from home thanks to my coach who convinced me this would work. There was no doubt, she believed in me. And, that instilled the belief in myself. I got to work on maternity leave. Exercising during naps, activity mat time, swing time. Whenever I could squeeze it in, and in three short weeks I dropped 5 pounds and over 9 inches from my body. But, what I gained back was SELF WORTH, STAMINA, STRENGTH, ENERGY, HEALTHY HABITS, AND CONFIDENCE. I also learned how to enjoy the foods I love without going in to starvation mode. I eat healthy most of the time, but still have my share of things like pizza, Oreo's, and donuts. I realized I had a story to share too. And, that is how I began my coaching journey. Since that time, I have gone on to inspire other women (and some men too) to do the same.

I can't just work any job. I need to feel emotional fulfillment, and that is why I love helping others GET BETTER. I am a nurse at heart with zero business background so helping people has always been my thing, but watching people kick a$$, take back their lives, start their own business, and crush their fitness goals that is my passion. I will always be so thankful for what Beachbody has given me these early years of Hudson's life that I can't get back
------>>>>>>TIME. We've avoided day care, done so many day trips to museums, the beach, and play dates with friends because of this freedom. And, yes there are days I want to pull my hair out. Working from home can be a challenge in addition to working out of the house as well. But, I wouldn't trade a second of it for the world. If you think you're ready to make your mess your message, let's chat! Let's face it, life is messy why not share it, work on making it the best messy life you can live and help others do the same .
